lennixx – 'Empty Room'

Following the success of debut EP ‘Split By’ and previous single ‘Bold Me’, Swedish RnB duo lennixx share B-side ‘Empty Room’.

‘Empty Room’ sticks to the lennixx brand of minimalist production. An intricate arrangement of shimmering chords and little percussion gives enough room for their interweaving vocals and delicately layered harmonies to shine. Soft and sensual, ‘Empty Room’ showcases a sweeter side to lennixx’s sound. Where ‘Bold Me’ is an explosion of colour, the stunning B-side sparkles in dreamy golden hues that perfectly align with its emotive lyricism – “Something with you, something about you, I don’t want to do life without you.”

Speaking about the track, Hanna says: “We immediately loved ‘Empty Room’ as soon as we finished it and felt that it was a song we really wanted to share. We think it works perfectly with ‘Bold Me’ because they both show a more mature and delicate side of us. We love when a song speaks for itself and listeners have their own idea of what the song is about, but for us it is a love song.”
