Patrick - 'Don't Blame it On Me'

Soloist Patrick is flying the flag for the LGBTQ music scene and recalls the first time he was content with his sexuality with the new single ‘Don’t Blame it On Me’.

Originally from Northern Ireland, this soloist has adopted Manchester as his new home and his real and raw song writing capabilities and explosive vocals are beginning to turn heads beyond the North West. Life hasn’t proved easy for Patrick, being born with a hearing defect and receiving homophobic abuse at the beginning of his career, but he’s used these experiences to his own advantage to create the unique act that we see today.

Patrick’s last single ‘Heavenly Bodies’ really set himself up for the year ahead and ‘Don’t Blame it On Me’ really takes it to another level as the listener receives a hyper-personal account of a night out to remember in the form of an infectious pop rock anthem.

Written just after arriving in Manchester, Patrick uses his talents to recall a specific night out where he met a guy in a beer garden and the confusion and frustration that arose between their two differing ambitions with Patrick feeling  “liberated” and more importantly being happy his sexuality for the first time.

The talent that Patrick possesses really does make you feel that you are right there in that beer garden with him and it’s a talent that truly has no limits going forward and certainly makes Patrick one of the top artists to watch in the future.
