MCRAE- 'Show Me'
MCRAE are chomping at the bit and certainly have something to say with their fiery new single ‘Show Me’.
Hailing from the quaint mill towns across Lancashire and Yorkshire, this four-piece have decided to not go down the same ‘Brit Pop’ road that many bands from around the same area have gone down. MCRAE have gone for something more subtle as they brilliantly blend punk, indie and pop as they share their experiences of growing up in the north.
They’re already beginning to reap the fruits of their hard work, tapping into a wider audience from supporting the likes of The Reytons and The Hubbards, taking it up to the next level as they reel off on a three minute statement of intent in ‘Show Me’.
MCRAE tackles the topic of “paths” that people may choose when coming up in a northern town and how “frustrations” arise from those situations. It’s certainly a heavy subject that effects a lot of young people that have intentions of flying the nest, one that this band perfectly understands and really sets MCRAE to be ones to watch going forward.
‘Show Me’, the new single from MCRAE is available now on all major streaming platforms.
