April – 'Forever (To Feel Like Tonight)'

Rising Irish singer-songwriter April announces new EP ‘Luna’ with brilliant first track ‘Forever (To Feel Like Tonight)’.

‘Forever (To Feel Like Tonight)’ is a song for hopeless romantics, for those that like to dream and lose themselves in perfect moments. With gently swaying melodies and softly euphoric synths, April creates an intimate atmosphere that give the track a rosy colour. Her emotive vocals feel like a moonlit summer night – warm and cosy, illuminated by her reflective lyricism, as she paints vivid pictures of giving in to all of her feelings. 

The first track taken off her upcoming EP ‘Luna’, ‘Forever (To Feel Like Tonight)’ introduces the overarching theme and sound of the record. “The EP is all about falling in love,” April reveals. “Each song touches on the uncertainty you get when starting to feel strongly about somebody at the start of a relationship. You begin to wonder if it will last or if it’s just something to pass the time. ‘Forever (to Feel Like Tonight)’ fits into this idea as a song about wanting a particular feeling to last forever. When a relationship isn’t perfect but there are perfect moments that make it ok and it's those moments you want to live in and never let them end.”
