Vistas - 'Comfort'

Vistas are clinging on to the last embers of the Summer to offer us some comfort to the year that we have lost with their electric new single ‘Comfort’.

It feels like this Scottish trip have been a part of the furniture in the indie scene for some years now, which makes it even more amazing that the three-piece have only just released their debut LP in 2020 with ‘Everything Changes in the End’ being a timeline for that gradual rise to the top in those three years.

That collection of feel good indie anthems was the only solace for what has been quite a year for all of us, with 2020 all billed up to be the year for this band fuelled by the release of the LP. 2021 will be a great substitute, with their biggest tour to date all lined up and including a night at the iconic Barrowlands, a dream come true for any Scottish band.

It is no surprise to see this outfit chomping at the bit to get out new music so soon after ‘Everything Changes in the End’, which has set the foundation and the tone for the follow ups ‘Stranger’ and now ‘Comfort’.

Fans know what they are getting when Vistas drop a new tune and it’s a formula that proves to be successful every time. What we get is an incredibly catchy, guitar-led anthem whose lyrics will ring in your head for hours on end and ‘Comfort’ unsurprisingly is just that.
