Cruel Hearts Club - 'Dirty Rotten Scum'
Punk and Autumn are walking hand in hand thanks to the talent of Cruel Hearts Club with their new single ‘Dirty Rotten Scum’.
This powerful three-piece are redefining what it is about being a star, taking the industry for a ride with their unapologetic blend of grunge-pop which is giving many whiplash along the way. Having picked up support from the likes of Iggy Pop and Sting, these lasses aren’t letting their foot off the gas anytime soon.
With their energetic live shows not a possibility at present, the three-piece are going hard on the music side of things. They’ve proved relentless, having released ‘Suck It Up’ and ‘Blame Me Too’ in the last year and are ready to go again with the explosive ‘Dirty Rotten Scum’ and it is certainly expected to heat things up. Produced by The Libertines legend Carl Barat, ‘Dirty Rotten Scum’ is firing on all cylinders from the first second as it continues the running form of grizzly bass hooks and anthemic drumming as we get one of the band’s emotive efforts to date.
Telling a story of love, the track takes a number of twists as a journey that is both “heavenly and heart-breaking” in one foul swoop. There’s a reason why some of the biggest artists in the world aren’t sleeping on Cruel Hearts Club, ‘Dirty Rotten Scum’ acts as the alarm to wake everyone else up to a band that have untold potential.
