SHOR – 'Usually'

South London artist and producer SHOR shares an immersive new single ‘Usually’.

With warm, soothing vocals resting on a blanket of dreamy synths and minimal percussion, SHOR takes you deep into a trance-like state. A second set of vocals join his own as ‘Usually’ breaks open into a captivating chorus that amplifies the track’s darker tones. “I wrote ‘Usually’ with my girlfriend about a mutual friend who was being messed about by a guy,” SHOR reveals. “It's frustrating to see someone you care about being hurt, especially when they seem completely blind to it, I guess the song is a product of that. It was the first time we’d written together, and the song came together surprisingly quickly!”

The second track from SHOR’s ‘Lessons EP’, set for release later this year, ‘Usually’ is a stunning follow up to lead single ‘Lessons’ that gives his atmospheric brand of bedroom pop more depth, showcasing his songwriting skill from an entirely different angle.
