Lisa Crawley - 'Clear History'

New Zealand born, Los Angeles based indie-pop songwriter Lisa Crawley shares infectious groove, ‘Clear History’.

Written and produced with Grammy nominated producer and frequent collaborator and Rob Kleiner, Lisa Crawley’s ‘Clear History’ features a slick guitar and percussive driving rhythm that draws on moody retro aesthetics, whilst retaining a relaxed sense of playfulness that Fleetwood Mac would be proud of. Crawley’s vocal is smooth and likeable as she confidently finds relief in the closure of an old relationship and looks forward to new beginnings.

’Clear History’ has a lovely accessible hook. But it’s not without its quirks which can be found in bursts of hand clap rhythms, woozy, wonky synth tones and sections of dreamy, and washed out layered vocals. The track is also accompanied by a music video which was inspired by 90’s computer nostalgia, Iris the camera loving cat and arcade sticker photo booths which you can enjoy below!
