Montreal based alt-pop artist Emi Jeen speaks from the heart on new single ‘Holy Water’.
‘Holy Water’ is a breakup song. Wrapped into slick beats and subdued melody lines, Emi Jeen talks about the painful reality of one person in a relationship loving the other more. Her powerful vocals take the lead, coating the track in a deep shade of purple as she soars high into a magnificent chorus of stormy guitars and punchy percussions – “Tell me baby could you love a monster like me? Don’t wanna see you getting lost trying to find me.”
Taken from her upcoming EP ‘The Other Side’, set for release in late October, ‘Holy Water’ serves as a first taste of Emi Jeen’s deliciously magnetic brand of sound.
