Hound - 'September'
‘September’ - the latest lo-fi slacker fueled track by Glasgow new faces Hound, which out now via Permanent Creeps Records.
Driven with catchy guitar licks and hazy tones ‘September’ brings about a layer of nostalgia - the time that indie forgot. The time of the Strokes, Blur and Supergrass - but Hound bring it back out of the darkness with their own beam of light. Written by singer/guitarist Zack and lead guitarist Andy, September came about in the depths of a jam session in 2018, about a year before Hound had been formed. It was one of the key ideas that led to the formation of Hound, and it dictated the general direction the band were to take. The song is about appreciating the people around you after a rough period in life.
