Zofia Alaya - 'Lost My Thoughts'
London/Warsaw based singer-songwriter Zofia Alaya releases her stunningly atmospheric pop track ‘Lost My Thoughts’.
Filled to the brim with euphoric builds up that burst into delightful moments of dream-pop mixed with mainstream commercial sounds. Dark and moody in all the right places but allowing little bits of light to leak out within the production shows this is an artist who is sure of themselves and their sound they wise to create. Definitely a name to keep your eye on in the future.
“Lost My Thoughts is an emotional song that describes the feeling of knowing your way in your life yet still being lost and having nothing left but trusting your own intuition. I wrote this song when I was in High School, surrounded by depression and nostalgia in Warsaw, Poland. Triggered by a freshly broken heart and inauthentic people I sat down by my piano and started writing a song that portrayed my emotions - sadness, emptiness, disorientation, and feeling of being stuck and lost. Since then writing songs was a great way of expressing my emotions and letting other people understand me. After moving to London and finding a suitable producer I am finally able to release this song after 4 years and I am more than proud of how it ended up.” - explains Zofia.
