The band explains the track - “The narrative of the song focuses on a metaphor of realising you're a walking suicide contemplation. Dead, but with a mouth to speak, ask for help, scream FUCK YOU. We follow a character through a story of feeling worthless, asking for help and finally realising the fight is worth it, cracking it all back together, picking themselves off the floor, and accepting you'll be alright after all. And that's Ghost with a Mouth.“
