MIZUKI - 'How Far We've Come' — When The Horn Blows

Born and raised in Sydney to Japanese parents, MIZUKI releases her floating dream-pop delight of a track ‘How Far We’ve Come’.

A track about self-reflection and the different stages of life. MIZUKI lays the path down for a fun piece of indie-pop. Struggling to find a balance between closing herself into a one size fits all box and self-exploration. Through embracing her differences she was led on a journey of discovery, opening up doorways and allowing her to immerse herself in a plethora of different and unique cultures. Growing up partaking in the Brazilian martial art and dance form of Capoeira, her love of expression through sound and movement influences her universal, yet personal sound.

The Melbourne based songstress shot onto the music scene with her debut single “Over the Sun” which provided the perfect platform to introduce the world to MIZUKI. Produced by Texas based Isak Kotecki, Over the Sun led to a series of life-changing events for MIZUKI, seeing her embark on the journey to Melbourne to pursue her lifelong dream, music where she met the team behind ON3 Studios.
