Ormiston - 'Rebel'

Montreal-based singer, songwriter and producer Ormiston shares uplifting debut single ‘Rebel’.

Fusing up-tempo pop with laid-back electronica and funky rhythms, Ormiston builds fun-filled soundscapes that would perfectly lend themselves to warm summer days spent at the beach. There is little more inviting than catchy riffs sprinkled with fuzzy vocals and heartfelt lyricism; ‘Rebel’ combines all three. “You need to know I’m not trying to pretend no more,” Ormiston sings, capturing the track’s liberating charm.

With an album in the works for a spring 2021 release, Ormiston is about to give the year a much-needed feel-good character, and ‘Rebel’ is only the first of many golden moments we can look forward to.
