Singer-songwriter Kane Miller gets vulnerable on indie folk single, ‘Catch My Heart’ taken from his new EP, ‘the Isolation Sessions’.
’Catch My Heart’ is the wonderful lead single taken from Kane Miller’s new EP, ‘The Isolation Sessions’. The EP is a relatively stripped affair which was recorded in a cabin on the lake in rural Ontario, seeing Miller without internet, phones or communication with the outside world. Going off grid has certainly worked for Miller. Recording in solitude has allowed him the space and peace to put himself under the microscope and deliver five more intimate love songs.
Accompanied by emotive guitar notes, ’Catch My Heart’ opens with echoey vocal fillers; a beautifully wild call into the unknown as Miller uses the track to express his fears and vulnerabilities. ’Catch My Heart’ glides along peacefully and swells with subtle ambient tones and shuffling percussive textures. It’s an airy and emotive tune that sees Miller muster the courage to bury his anxieties and receive confirmation that he is safe, loved and needed by a romantic partner.
