AJA - 'Red Button' — When The Horn Blows

Toronto newcomer AJA is quickly establishing herself as a force of nature when it comes to catchy pop anthems, and if her third single ‘Red Button’ is anything to go by - world domination will be soon on the cards.

Oozing the energy of Tate Mcrae with catchy hooks while also pulling in the mystical side of early Dua Lipa - AJA is reaching for the sky with her intoxicating take on the pop genre. On ‘Red Button’ she pulls you in close on the verses and builds you up to the punchy chorus that hits you straight in the face with no warning. At the young age of sixteen, it is still early in this artist’s career but AJA has already gained over a million streams on her first two singles ‘Nerve’ and ‘Who’s Gonna Love You?’ - making her a strong contender for one of the breakout artists of 2021.

"When someone breaks your heart, I mean really breaks your heart, it's easy to hit the Red Button and decline their call. Wrote Red Button with Jimmy McGormam, It was one of those collaborations that happened so organic yet so fitting. Jimmy already had the concept for the song but was looking for the right singer for it. We were introduced by a mutual friend Kurt. I'm guessing I was the right singer”
