In the past few years Hip-Hop music has stretched and expanded into new territories never seen before, Punk and Rock has not only influenced the actual music and beats but artists style and views on the music scene as a whole. That being said, what better thing to do than start an Alternative Hip-Hop and Rock festival; that is exactly what ALT-LDN has done and will be bringing the heat this August Bank Holiday!!

Topping the lineup is one of the most interesting and talked about rappers in the game right now, Playboi Carti who has just come off the searing success of his latest album ‘Whole Lotta Red’ is sure to put on one of the most memorable performances of the year! Another artist who is joining him is Machine Gun Kelly, who went from being an important rapper in the scene to a household Pop-Punk name with his latest release ‘Tickets to My Downfall’ which has taken massive influences from bands such as Blink-182 and even went as far as getting Travis Barker on a host of tracks! No doubt his ballstothewall, “I don’t give a shit” attitude will translate to an amazing set in Clapham Common this summer.

Heading up the Rock stage is metalcore heavyweights Architects, whos most recent release was revered as one of the best Rock albums of the year, with features from Parkway Drive’s Winston Mccall and Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, it was an unstoppable piece of work! A polar opposite in regards to musical direction, the infamous South African Rave-Rappers Die Antwoord will also be bringing their unique combination of colourful beats and grotesque visuals to London for what can only be described as a Post-Apocalyptic night out!!

If you think it can’t get any better, trust us it can, an insane host of musicians pack out the rest of the day including The Kid Laroi, Lil Yachty, Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Skies, Bexey, Sleep Token, Bobby Vylan and Princess Nokia to name just a few!!!

ALT-LDN is truly an eclectic mixing pot of what both genres have to offer; it will no doubt be the first of many to combine the hyper beat hungry genre of rap and the raw heavy power of rock to create something truly unique! London is going to get a bit crazy this summer for sure!
