Mannequin Pussy - 'Perfect'

Philadelphia Punk rockers Mannequin Pussy have released new single ‘Perfect’ the titled track of their new EP. Perfect is an explosive track which erupts with volcano of chaos.

Mannequin Pussy’s new EP Perfect is the bands first new releases since the bands critically acclaimed 3rd album Patience. The indie punk rockers also received rave reviews for their incredible live shows but since the pandemic have  focused on creating a wonderful body of work in the studio. Mannequin Pussy have come along way since their debut self titled album in 2014 and with new tracks like ‘Perfect’ the band continue to develop and progress.

New single ‘Perfect’ is a 90 second song full of anarchy and relentlessness, the explosion of sound best envisages everyone’s feelings through this global pandemic. ‘Perfect comes out of months of social isolation & internet-fuelled anxiety, examining the practice of condensing your daily life into a manicured stream of images for social media. The bands vocalist Missy really in-captures the frustrations and the heavy hitting guitar sounds the band generate really do produce a special punk rock song. 

‘Perfect’ is definitely the sound of artists coming out of the shadow of isolation and expressing their emotions of what has been a very tough time for everybody.
