Taken from her upcoming EP ‘Can’t Escape the Feeling’, Jodie Nicholson releases euphoric new single ‘Why Would You (Go)’.

The track is supported by PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music Award and produced by Tim Bran, who has worked with the likes of Aurora and London Grammar. It sees Jodie blending together deep lyrics and strong mellow electronics to create her own atmospheric moment. With a unique time signature on the chorus that isn’t usually found in pop music - it proves the Jodie Nicholson never feels constrained or restricted by the genre’s rules and is driven to create something new and refreshing with each release.

Jodie explains, “it’s about knowing a relationship is no good for you, but as soon as you see them, you’re like ‘how could I possibly leave?’, a conversation I had with myself time and time again. You'll hear clips of me driving, talking to myself in my car, which became a safe space for me to voice how I was feeling without ever having to admit anything to anyone else.”
