The forth single of 2021 - Norwegian pop witch Moyka releases her new single ‘Illusion’.

Infectious pop synths and melodies throughout turns this track into a mainstream chart potential. Ready for radio play with it’s big chorus that is made to be shouted out by big audiences. Taking influence from Scandinavian and Nordic artist around at the moment, similar to the likes of Aurora, Sigrid and Red Moon. Moyka is the next one to burst into the spotlight!

“I went to Oslo to write songs after a long period of feeling anxious and trapped in my own head, maybe even trapped in the city I was living in as well. When I came back home with "Illusion", I instantly knew that I had to have it on the album. It felt like such a relief to write a song like this that felt both positive and naïve about the feeling of having a crush on someone. It fit right in with the story I want to tell with the album as a whole, so it was perfect. You know the feeling when you’re at a party and you catch someone’s eyes and you instantly want to hang around them and get to know them? Summer is over and you’re once again at a party with a bunch of strangers. The night turns a dark blue, maybe even a little bit violet in the horizon where the sun went down. You’re on the balcony talking, and you can still smell the last breaths of summer in between laughter and exchanged looks. That’s the feeling I wanted to capture with this song. And of course the sadder side of love, where a moment can be really special to me, but not at all for the other person." - Moyka
