Festival News: Mogwai joins All Points East
Luno Presents All Points East have just announced one of the UK’s best loved bands Mogwai will be joining The National’s English Festival Exclusive headline show on Friday 26 August. They will replace King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, who have sadly had to pull out due to personal health reasons.
Scottish post-rockers Mogwai come to All Points East after a massive summer packed with live shows. After a successful 2021, including the release of their UK No.1 and Scottish Album Of The Year award-winning record As the Love Continues, plus a Mercury Prize nomination, Mogwai recently created the soundtrack for the new Apple TV+ series Black Bird (starring Taron Egerton). They join The National alongside Fleet Foxes, Kurt Vile, Perfume Genius, Low and many more in Victoria Park this month.
The stellar array of headliners over 6 music packed days also include: Gorillaz, The Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk, Tame Impala, Disclosure, and Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
