Festival News: Sound City unveils the first acts on the 2024 line up

Sound City unveils the first acts on the 2024 line up.

Sound City takes place across central Liverpool - a city renowned for its thriving music scene - and is the best place to discover brand new artists as well as rising superstars. The headliners across the weekend so far are eccentric, 21-year-old pop musician Caity Baser and Scottish indie-rock group The Snuts. These performers are the next big things, and are ones to watch throughout 2024, which Sound City prides itself on.

Baser herself has said she has heard the rumours about Liverpool crowds being ‘nuts’ and she is ‘excited to find out if it is true’ at her headline set. Get down and prove her right!

The lineup is bursting with new talents, consisting of vibrant upcoming acts such as Antony Szmierek, Brooke Combe, Seb Lowe, Corella, Viji, Lala Hayden and Balancing Act and there are still more to be announced!

Sound City has previously boasted the likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Catfish & The Bottlemen, who all went on to become global superstars. The lineup never disappoints, and will one again showcase some immense new talents in 2024.

Sound City kicks off the summer festival season, taking place on the 4th and 5th of May, making it the perfect place for music fans to be as you are certain to discover your favourite new act. 2024 tickets are available now, with a weekend ticket costing less than £60, it would be a mistake to miss this one.

As well as this, Sound City offers a conference on the 3rd of May, with exciting discussions around the music and entertainment industries. They call on industry professionals to showcase the transformative last 12 months in the industry, providing panels with impressive guest speakers. More details will be unveiled about this event soon, so keep an eye on the Sound City website for all updates.
