HAIM to headline All Points East

Californian acclaimed rock trio HAIM will make their Luno presents All Points East debut on Bank Holiday Monday 28 August for a European exclusive show.

Signing their very first record deal in the UK back in 2012, the BRIT Award winning sister trio are returning to their second home to headline Victoria Park this summer for a huge bank holiday party.

Connecting the dots between 70s rock, 80s synth pop, and 90s R&B, HAIM’s distinct sound and knack for songwriting has led to GRAMMY nominations, sold-out tours and three critically acclaimed albums. Their debut record, 2013’s Days Are Gone, topped the charts in the UK, and spawned the hit singles ‘The Wire’ and ‘Forever’, with their sophomore album, 2017’s Something to Tell You, following suit with great success in the UK, peaking at No.2.

Their latest release, Women in Music Pt. III, was one of the most anticipated albums of 2020. Although delayed due to the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the record received widespread critical acclaim and became their second No.1 album in the UK. The music confronted real issues the sisters were dealing with, including depression, mourning and illness. NME gave it 5 stars, calling it “their best yet… more than worth the wait: it's somehow punky, vulnerable and soothing – and a thing of great beauty”.

The sisters have played in bands since they were children, officially forming HAIM in 2007, with Danielle on guitar and lead vocals, Este on guitar and bass, and Alana on guitar and keyboard. Known for their incredible live performances and selling out shows all over the world, the trio have also collaborated with some big stars, including their friend and touring-mate Taylor Swift, plus contributing their talents to songs with Stevie Nicks, Charli XCX, Bastille, Vampire Weekend, Calvin Harris, Kid Cudi, Major Lazer to name just a few.
