Bombay Bicycle Club - 'My Big Day'
Indie legends Bombay Bicycle Club return with the brilliant new single ‘My Big Day’.
The London group have shared the news of a new album of the same title as the latest release, and it really has got fans talking. As undisputed legends of the Indie-rock world, the release of new music is always greatly anticipated.
‘My Big Day’ wastes no time, listeners are thrown straight into the track. The electronic sound begins instantly, and immediately creates a real summery feel. Bombay Bicycle Club perfectly demonstrate their talents in the latest release, moving away from guitar sounds, and towards a genre-bending, modern take on electronic music that has come before. The track takes listeners on an audible journey. They achieve a range of feels and emotions in extremely professional fashion.
Lead singer, Jack Steadman, delivers a brilliant vocal performance which builds up to an epic climax where he shows off, brilliantly, his talents through his use of varying pitch and note length.
The rest of the group compliment his performance in equally impressive style. The track is really well put together and is the perfect number for them to reintroduce themselves to their listeners.
The band have announced an album which is due for release this coming Autumn, under the same title as the new single. With the quality of the first single being so high, fans can expect great things from the upcoming record, which has some extremely interesting features: including Holly Humberstone as well as Damon Albarn.
It really is an exciting time to be a fan of Bombay Bicycle Club. As well as the burst of new music, the group have also got a run of summer and autumn shows ahead.
