Festival News: 2000trees add final 35 bands

2000trees is finally complete. With a final 35 bands added to the lineup, it’s time to breathe, research, and start planning.

From the offset, 2000trees 2025 has promised to be one of the biggest editions yet. With five huge names in alternative rock, punk and metal headlining the three days — Kneecap and Pvris, Taking Back Sunday and Coheed and Cambria, and finally the only band ever Alexisonfire bringing it home — alongside a wealth of stars, icons, and ones-to-watch, it was only ever going to be massive… and now, with a whole host of names being announced across the weekend, along with the long awaited Wednesday headliner, it’s finally complete.

Headlining the Wednesday is none other than Hot Milk. Having headlined on The Axiom stage last year, it’s only fitting that they come back and do it all over again — and what better way to do it than by kicking the festival off as only they can?

Other big names announced include the returning heroes of Twin Atlantic, set to headline the second stage on the Thursday night. Coming along for the ride come the inimitable likes of festival favourites The Hunna, HIMALAYAS, BLACKGOLD, Karen Dío, Grumble Bee (the side project of Lonely The Brave frontman Jack Bennett), Vexed, and more!

Then comes the Friday, whose big-ticket item comes in the form of 2000trees icon/legend/stalker, Frank Turner! With a set already lined up with the long-awaited return of Million Dead, Frank Turner’s also promising to play ‘Love Ire & Song’ in full in amongst the trees of the Forest. Similarly, La Dispute have been announced as playing a second set in the Forest before their sure-to-be-rowdy set on the Saturday. Elsewhere, Mclusky, Press Club and Mallavora are all gearing up for their newly announced sets, as is Australian solo act Henevshe with her first ever UK solo show - Hevenshe being Jenna from Tonight Alive!

And finally, Saturday. It already feels like we’re being spoilt, even just from the main stage going from letlive into Alexisonfire — but the likes of Sparta, Kevin Devine, Paddy Considine’s outfit Riding The Low, and recent punk superstars The Molotovs add just that extra shine to the tail end of a weekend already populated by Vukovi, Imminence, Big Special, FIDLAR, Røry, Kid Kapichi, and what seems to be every other band you could want in the wholesome little Cheltenham hideaway of 2000trees.

See the 2000trees website or social media posts to see the full list of added artists and how they’re split over the weekend, and get your ticket while you can… now, time to bite your nails to stubs while anxiously awaiting the clashfinder!
