Larlin - 'Limbo'
Brighton base alternative artist Larlin explores the space between holing on and letting go with new single 'Limbo'.
At its heart, it is a break-up song disguised as a love ballad, exploring the clash of head and heart when you know something is not right but cannot bear to let it go. The verses live in the grit and doubt, while the choruses soar with hope, echoing that emotional tug-of-war.
Larlin first wrote the song on electric keys and acoustic guitar, deep with feelings of longing and frustration. Creating a fragile sound - but it soon grew into something bigger - taking it to Salvation Studios in Brighton, the band transformed it into an explosive alt-rock anthem. Both vulnerable and defiant,Limbo captures the restless back-and- forth of a love you cannot release, even when you know deep down it will never last.
