Festival News: New acts announced for Outbreak Manchester
All new acts announced for Outbreak Manchester alongside the long-awaited day splits.
Outbreak has hit our feeds yet again with another announcement for their seminal 2026 lineup taking place on the 26th through the 28th of June at the BEC arena in Manchester, and it’s shaping up to be one of their greatest.
The UK’s hardcore pilgrimage has announced another handful of acts for their weekend displays, as well as an unbelievable Friday lineup that’s set to stun its Manchester audience this coming June. After announcing a stellar cast last time around from top to toe, they’ve come back swinging yet again with another barnstormer, announcing sets from legendary bands like The Front Bottoms, performing their masterpiece second album in full, balance and composure, free throw, tigers jaw and pool kids for their Friday line up that is slowly shaping up to be hard bar to beat. Thankfully, that’s not all the outbreak gods have blessed us with either, as a plethora of fantastic smaller names have been added to the fold, as well as the long-awaited day splits.
Saturday has something for everyone, nailing together metalcore superstars like ALEXISONFIRE performing Crisis in full, along with pop punk masterminds like PUP and Higher Power. As per usual, hardcore bands are everywhere on this full throttle no brakes line up with some absolutely fantastic names added to the fold, such as RECLUS.É, blanket, love is noise and Sunnbrella. Alongside the lineup newcomers is a plethora of names that have cut their teeth in the genre for years, such as the Armed, one of my personal favourites touché amoré and Converge.
The Sunday is action-packed and is really opening up to be a deep and rich day of hardcore ancestry with bands from nearly every decade of this genres thriving history. Starting strong at the bottom of the lineup we have an all-star cast of powerhouse hardcore acts including the Baltimore city hate crew End it, talent-rich London project Dynamite, and modern hardcore trailblazers Haywire, who have been absolutely killing it recently and will most definitely be a highlight of the weekend. This is all topped off by a back-to-back main stage to keep the action rolling with Trapped Under Ice, Hatebreed, suicidal tendencies and long-time residents of the festival, Basement.
Not a single day on this lineup has one modicum of a break in the action, and Outbreak 2026 is set to be the best yet, with 95% of weekend tickets sold out, it’s essential for hardcore fans and newcomers alike to grab what you can while they’re still there, as this is not one to be missed.
