Free Download: ERIEL INDIGO - 'Electrify'

There are many things extremely easy to like about  LA-based "galactic" artist ERIEL INDIGO. As a listener, it is important to note the way in which her music is fundamentally familiar, despite the electronic tweaks acting as Indigo's signature.

Indigo's latest single 'Electrify' is radio friendly, futurist electro pop, that clearly has been influenced by a whole lot of genres, including hip hop, rnb, pop and electronic music.  Vocally (as we bloggers love to do) we instantly drew comparisons to a mixture of Ellie Goulding and Iggy Azalea. There's this current, cool edge to Indigo's sound here that would see her fit right in on any popular chart list.

Another likeable thing about Indigo is that of the three tracks we have heard on her Soundcloud page so far, each has its own dynamic and unique personality. Indigo reveals different tones and textures to her sound that do, at times, shy away from mainstream sensibilities (see 'Innocence' which is also available for free download).

ERIEL INDIGO is an authentic, inspired, interesting and uplifting artist who is taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary. 'Electrify' is taken from ERIEL INDIGO's upcoming  EP 'ELEVATE' due out on March 30th.
