1. Go to the Silent Disco

Everyone loves a disco, so why not make is a Silent Disco. After the success of it last year at the festival, they invited it back. Starting at The Quarry on Thursday night and then moving to the Giant Squid for the rest of the weekend. Finish off a day of music by dancing into the early hours.

2. Try Glamping

Add a bit of comfort to your festival weekend, and try one of the glamping options available on site

3. Go to a workshop and get creative with the family

Each day there is loads happening onsite suitable for people of all ages. The festival have workshops, and a range of activities that have previously included mask and costume marking, child friendly cabaret, hoola hooping and circus skills workshops and many more.

The festival flies the flag high for being family friendly.

This year sees Nighthawk Cinema come to Y Not Fesitval. With films playing all day till the early hours. This little escape is an ideal place to go to get away from the rock and roll lifestyle in the sun.

Last year saw us sit through every Star Wars films back to back, so check out this year's schedule:

5. Eat a fish finger sandwich

The food available at Y Not Festival left us supporting an extra few inches on our waist line because there was so much on offer. So make sure you try the Mac'N'Cheese stand, have a Wild Boar Burger or more important have a fish finger sandwich!
