Single Review: NUUXS - 'Real Love'

French born singer-songwriter NUUXS shares ambient electro pop track, 'Real Love'.

'Real Love' is a wholesome and resilient track, embracing a free spirited yet grounded nature, instantly emitting feel good vibes. NUUXS' velvety vocal exudes a sultry soulfulness as she takes inventory of the simple things in life that bring happiness; like lazy summer afternoons and flowers in bloom.

The soundscape is mellow, warm and grounded, incorporating subtle jazz sensibilities with guitar work that alternates from hazy to funk. Buoyant, rolling percussion meets breezy pop melodies, before the track strips back in the center to reveal the poignant message, "gotta take care of everything you have". A  thought provoking reminder to be more appreciative and alive in the present.

Produced and co-written by Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Hot Chip, Wiley and The Libertines) 'Real Love' is the first beautiful listen off of NUUXS' upcoming EP, 'Pearl' due for release October 20th.
