Listen: RÓSA - 'Stranger' (Single)

Southern California's RÓSA share their new single 'Stranger', taken from their forthcoming EP, due out in January.

It's been five months since we lasted posted about RÓSA' and their single, 'Without You'. Since then, they've released a 4-track EP 'Wasteful' that saw the band delve into R&B, Dancehall and retro indie pop influences with ease.I'm really pleased to see the band back with, 'Stranger' which debuts a moodier progression of sound, without losing all the things we love about the band from their previous material.

'Stranger' sticks to the RÓSA formula of  rhythmic, retro and airy grooves yet  levels up with chilled trickling textures, and seems to be built of decisively gloomier parts, most notably within the cleaner vocal and the lyrics. RÓSA seem to be tapping into a more evocative, simmering, vocal-centric sound, and this sits really well with me.
