Single Review: TUSK - 'Matter of Time'

Nottingham five-piece TUSK make their debut with contagious alt rock indie offering, Matter of Time'.

'Matter of Time' is a no frills alt rock track that takes indie dance sensibility and dives straight into its huge hook from the minute you press play.  There's a really nice atmosphere to the track, which combines edgy riffs with a chiming, retro feel that had me thinking of  the melody to Eric Carmen's 'Hungry Eyes in parts!

What instantly stood out for me is the lead singer Ned's baritone which oozes a charisma and a likability that reminded me a lot of George Ezra at its most brooding, yet holds its own identity at its most impassioned.

With its playful dynamic and thrilling energy, 'Matter of Time' sees TUSK dancing onto the scene with a fiery determination under their feet. Produced by Rob Milton and mixed by Monkey Gun. 'Matter of Time' is out now on Strataville.
