St. Buryan - 'Forget To Love' (Single)
North East of England indie-pop five-piece St. Buryan release infectious indie pop single, 'Forget To Love'.
Arguably their most polished track to date, 'Forget To Love' is St. Buryan's third single and has a great energy about it, undeniably catchy with great pop sensibility whilst still remaining true to a raw indie ethos. Lyrically, the band avoid over complicating it, retaining a core singalong appeal.
The track's instrumentation is warm, upbeat and groove-inducing, lead singer Ben Mackett's voice is warm and charismatic. There's a familiarity about 'Forget To Love' that is really welcoming, without feeling like St. Buryan are trying to imitate anyone.
'Forget To Love' was self-recorded/self-produced, before being mixed by Darwin Smith ( Darwin Deez) and mastered by Pete Maher. I hope the band are really proud of this effort. We've been sitting on this one for a while but are really pleased to be able to share it now. Really excited for these guys.
