Payton Odom’s soothing new track ‘Conventional Wisdom’ is the second single off of his upcoming EP.

Odom’s smooth vocals usher the listener in to a track that muses with heartbreak over a vintage guitar, warm horns and driving piano. Odom has taken this track back to simple production perfectly combined with intoxicating vocals and soul-quenching lyrics. With his recent relocation to Brooklyn, Odom has been working with producer, Jeremy McDonald, who brings a sonic palette with elements of jazz, soul and RnB to Odom’s songs.

The track is certainly one that will define the Dallas-born musician’s mark on the world.
