Live Review: Fickle Friends - Concorde 2, Brighton 19/03/2018
If ever there was a story about how far hard work and dedication can get you, Fickle Friends basically wrote the book on it.
Selling out Concorde2 is a dream for most bands working the Brighton scene, yet very few ever get the chance to make it a reality.
I've followed Fickle Friends rise to popularity from a tiny gig at The Hope infront of under ten people, all the way to selling out venues night after night. It's always nice to see a band so humble and grateful to their fans. Lead singer Natti on numerous occasions throughout the band's set, thanked everybody for their support and spoke of how their dreams are finally becoming true.
The band ploughed through tracks from their new album (which is a must buy!) along with some classics for the early fans. This was without a doubt, a night that will stay with everybody that attended and no doubt the band themselves.
Fickle Friends rise to the top has just entered a new gear and it won't be long before the band are a household name and your mum is embarrasingly singing along to them in the car! I highly recommend heading down to a show asap. Because who doesn't like to say "I knew them before they were huge".
