Single Review: RedFaces - 'Messed Up Feeling'

SHOT BY PHOX
Indie Rock band RedFaces have released their fourth single ‘Messed Up Feeling’, a fantastic song by another great band from Sheffield.

‘Messed Up Feeling’ is the follow up to RedFaces last hit single ’Take it or leave it’ which did earn them a lot of recognition. This even included being BBC Introducing's track of the week and also MTV's one of the bands to watch in 2018. Tough to follow but RedFaces do manage to go one better with ‘Messed Up Feeling’.

Brand new song ‘Messed Up Feeling’ was recorded at Miloco’s The Pool in London & was produced by Carey Willetts of indie rock band Athlete. The song features a clever combination of synth with a heavy bass guitar & drums creating a lovely indie dance song with R’n’b influences. For me I believe that ‘Messed Up Feeling’ is their best song to date because I think this is the song which RedFaces discover their very own sound which makes them unique.

‘Messed Up Feeling’ has already received national airplay on Radio 1 by Huw Stephens making this RedFaces fourth consecutive single to feature on national radio, very impressive. This is the start of a very exciting journey for this four piece indie rock band who are destined to go far.
