GURU - 'Consumer Helpline'

This week on oddly specific song titles we get Consumer Helpline by Brighton based GURU. For a first single it’s certainly a solid offering!
‘Consumer Helpline’ is a crunchy, garage sounding rocker from start to finish. An almost hypnotic main riff carries across the song, punctuated by tight percussion. Dirty vocals sit on top the instruments spewing what they have to say building with the track into a chorus wrapped in fuzzy guitars and dotted with drifting yells of backing vocals. What is a fairly standard song structure is filled with energy and pushed fast forward along its course.
It’s a perfect first single, teasing at what else may come from this new, exciting band!
