2019 continues to be on the up and up for one of the hottest talents in the North East as Michael Gallagher releases his latest hit ‘Out Forever’.

It has been a whirlwind year for the Hartlepudlian, pumping out hit after hit which included Gallagher’s debut EP which went down a storm. The guitarist also continued to cut his teeth in a live setting as he wowed crowds across the North East and further afield, it certainly doesn’t like it will stop there as Gallagher still has some live shows left including another stop in Newcastle on the 11th of this month.

Gallagher’s EP certainly showed the change in sound that Gallagher that was looking to achieve with his new music going forward, ‘Gone’ showed that clearly with its infectious 00s-inspired indie sound setting expectations high for this track.

It’s easy to hear where Gallagher’s influences stem from, personally I get feel of Catfish and the Bottlemen’s ‘7’ and Mumford & Sons ‘The Wolf’ especially from the guitar that is a constant in the background.

‘Out Forever’ is an ode to Gallagher’s youth, speaking about the awkwardness of young love and going out to forget it all. Gallagher has struck gold again with this youth anthem and it is one that certainly sticks out in a bolstered back library.

‘Out Forever’ is out now on all major streaming platforms.
