The Lottery Winners - 'Hawaii'
The Lottery Winners look to escape the cold weather with their new single ‘Hawaii’.
This band have quite the journey so far, having been discovered by the legendary Seymour Stein whose worked with the likes of Madonna and The Ramones, they’ve gone from playing the pub circuit to supporting the likes of Sir Tom Jones and recording their debut album in the last two years.
Consisting of Thom, Kate, Rob and Joe, the four-piece are currently halfway through a bumper UK tour, ending next April in their biggest headline show to date at Manchester Ritz to celebrate the release of their hotly anticipated, self-titled debut LP.
I discovered this band some time ago with their single ‘Young Love’, quickly becoming one of my favourite tracks of 2016 for its infectious lyrics and upbeat, tropical sound. The quartet have stuck to what they do best with ‘Hawaii’, speaking of escapism through playful lyrics and harmonious melodies that transport you right to the shores of the tropical island.
‘Hawaii’ is the first step in the right direction for The Lottery Winners, firmly placing them on the map and the start of what we can expect to be a long and prosperous career for the four-piece.
‘Hawaii’ is available now on all streaming platforms and The Lottery Winners will plays Liverpool’s Zanzibar on November 1st.
