Released ahead their debut EP Panic, ‘Editing’ is Johnny Kills latest single that deals with the confusion of early adulthood, about how “life is slowly shaping in front of you and is taking you and your partner in different directions.” But Johnny Kills aren’t here to make you sob into your pillow about it. ‘Editing’ makes you realise that everyone faces these challenges and ironically makes you feel more upbeat about it all.

Johnny Kills are able to do this in a perfectly written pop song. ‘Editing’ opens with jangly chords and harmonised vocals that sound like Spring King. Once the drums and lead guitar melodies come in, the band kick things up a notch and ‘Editing’ launches into becoming a very catchy and driving indie rock song.
