Live At Leeds looks to showcase Britain's emerging talent
Live at Leeds is finally here with its final lineup announcement of the year; and blimey is it a good’un. Already winning the “Best Festival For Emerging Talent” award in 2018, Live At Leeds looks to showcase Britains best.
Look, I know we’ve all heard the “this might be the festival of the year” line - but this might actually be cutting it very close to that title. Joining the already huge announcement of Sundara Karma, Tom Grennan, Sam Fender, Black Honey and The Sherlocks is another huge list of talented acts that are sure to turn 2019 into their stomping ground.
Just announced sees the return of Sea Fret to Live At Leeds with their unique brand of in-the-sun indie pop, along with the on-the-rise punk rockers The Murder Capital. Also dancing on the stage with thousands of people are Lady Bird, well known for their energetic performances and heavy riffs. Also joining them are the likes of Hak Baker, Menace Beach, and the renowned six-piece Team Picture, along with a handful of other emerging and up-and-coming talent.
Say what you like about our dysfunctional politics and taste in weird condiments like marmite, but if theres one thing that we do well, it’s music - and Live At Leeds is here to prove just that.
