Corella - 'Bloom'
The fast-rising Corella’s latest single ‘Bloom’ is a high energy summer bop.
Consisting of university friends Joel Smith, Ben Henderson, Jack Taylor, and James Fawcett, this four-piece have been a breath of fresh air with their alternative indie-pop which has seen them championed by the likes of BBC, ITV, and Manchester United. The quartet currently find themselves bouncing between the studio and the road where they have enjoyed numerous festival appearances as well as sold out shows at Manchester’s Academy 3 and London’s Camden Assembly.
‘Bloom’ is another collaboration with long-time producer Sugar House, and takes inspiration from last year’s heatwave to produce a high energy summer bop that is reminiscent of spending time with friends. The track also adopts the signature hooks and guitar riffs that Corella have become known for, with the band stating the adopted a “different approach” for this track which is clear to see as the verses make way for a rousing chorus.
‘Bloom’ is another great track from this quartet and will be one that will be on repeat throughout the summer months as Corella’s star power continues to rise.
