CHAD take their listener on a loop de loop of blissful, playful arrangements taking easy listening to new effortless highs on new single, ‘I Got Time’. Produced by Cameron Spies and recorded at Trash Treasury in Portland, Oregon, ‘I Got Time’ sees Sarah Lane’s lush slacker vocal thread its way through intricate guitar bass and guitar arrangements and tight hip hop drum beats that all in all packs a hypnotic head bopping, laid-back, funky punch to lose yourself in.
On the track the band explains, “The song is about having time (or maybe not?) to figure out your lover and yourself. The song also ponders how much time humans have left in the world”.
’I Got Time’ is the shimmering and steadfast first single taken from the band’s debut EP which is due for release this autumn and sets the bar high for what is still to come.
