Norwegian six-piece Mønevann share a cathartic slice of cinematic alternative rock on ‘Everything Falls Into Place’.

Mønevann follow up their moving single, ‘Dear Defeat’, with a fresh cut of excellence on ‘Everything Falls Into Place'. Opening with a soothing intro, ‘Everything Falls Into Place’ introduces itself via a lovely alternative rock instrumental that sounds like a hopeful lullaby. Kim Erik Berg’s warm, conversational vocal comes in on the wonderful lyric, “Dawn is breaking I'm not afraid anymore”, elegantly dancing atop a a soundbed of melodically pleasing and affecting instrumention.

’Everything Falls Into Place’ is a song that gradually builds with suspense before reaching a magnificent, cathartic climax ,seeing Mønevann tentatively repeat the chorus, “When everything falls apart, something will fall into place, right?”, before growing more assertive, bursting to life through vibrant splashes of sound, as the band repeat the mantra, “Everything falls into place”.

On the track, Mønevann explains, ”Everything Falls Into Place’ is focused on overcoming anxiety. It's about talking yourself into wanting to do anything, hoping that things will be OK afterwards."

This is the kind of optimistic song that makes your heart skip with joy and reminds you the pure joy of simply being alive.
