Jarrel The Young – 'Paris In The Fall'
Toronto-based singer, songwriter and producer Jarrel The Young makes tranquil waves with gorgeous new single ‘Paris In The Fall’.
Jarrel meshes an infectious groove with intimate soundscapes, making ‘Paris In The Fall’ a beautiful spectacle of heartfelt alt-R&B. Laced with the mellow tones of nostalgia, his golden vocals and smooth lyricism are dipped into warm, autumnal colours, painting vivid images of yearning for a moment of peace. “‘Paris in the Fall’ speaks to living a new life, and still having things and people in your past that you can't let go and constantly miss,” Jarrel explains. “From my personal experience that has been my wife and my child. Traveling the world making music is a fast-paced dream, but nothing makes me happier then speaking to my family. The perfect moment would be flying my family in to join me wherever I'm working."
The lead single of his upcoming EP, ‘Paris In The Fall’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for Jarrel The Young. One that sees him soaring into the blissful heights of silky RnB while staying firmly connected to his past. He says: "There are elements in the past that ground you and remind you where you came from. No matter how far you are or how fast you are moving, you know those elements will never leave you.”
