New York singer songwriter Leyla Blue gets political on empowering new single ‘F*** Yourself’.

‘F*** Yourself’ sees Leyla speaking with her whole chest as she calls out misogyny, inequality, & injustices towards women. And she doesn’t waste anytime dancing around the topic either, immediately raising a defiant fist with the first lyrics of the song “Ain’t it funny how a man who’s never met me tried to tell me what I can and cannot do with my body…” Placed in a gorgeous acoustic setting, Leyla’s razor sharp lyricism and delicate vocals form the track’s focal-point, emphasising its urgency and relevance. A fight song and feminist anthem, ‘F*** Yourself’ is no doubt a song the world needs to hear right now.

The second release from her upcoming project, ‘F*** Yourself’ is a stunning example of Leyla’s impressively honest and direct take on songwriting. Bold and unafraid, it follows previous single ‘Company’ in painting images of Leyla’s beautifully eclectic sound.
