Winona Oak – 'Piano in the Sky'

Following the success of debut EP ‘Closure’, Sweden’s Winona Oak announces follow-up EP ‘SHE’ alongside striking new single ‘Piano in the Sky’.

With a Lana del Rey air of bitter-sweet melancholy, ‘Piano in the Sky’ is sure to haunt your daydreams. Slow moving piano lines carry Winona’s delicate vocals as they lead into a disarming chorus. Coated in an armour of re-verb, they give live to her emotive lyricism. “Take all this love from me, I don’t want to feel anymore,” Winona pleads, and her razor-sharp voice cuts straight to the heart. 

‘Piano in the Sky’ is a stunning second offering taken from Winona’s upcoming EP ‘SHE’. Where previous single ‘With Myself’ focussed on magnetic beats and intoxicating rhythms, ‘Piano in the Sky’ shows a much gentler side to her sound. With these two tracks painting an intriguing picture, ‘SHE’ promises to be a record fuelled by emotion.
