Crystal Tides - 'Courtney Love'

Crystal Tides are adding a little bit of spice to these winter months with the fiery new single ‘Courtney Love’. 

Based in the South East of England, this young four-piece have been hard at work in 2020 having already released two singles with the latest ‘Monday’ really thrusting the quartet in the national spotlight and onto the cusp of a substantial breakthrough. 

The lads aren’t ashamed in their love for classic noughties guitar music which is a big influence throughout the band along with feel-good melodies. Though those elements are prominent and highly enjoyable on ‘Courtney Love’, the band have sidestepped slightly as they look to take the fight to the music bigwigs. 

Using the name of the famous American artist as more of a prompt for questions, ‘Courtney Love is really all about swiping at and “fighting” the people who “take advantage” of young musicians who are just at the beginning of their music journey. Crystal Tides certainly succeed in making a statement on a very important topic, whilst making a song that you can’t help but nod your head along to.
