Drug Store Romeos - 'Jim, Let's Play'

Drug Store Romeos have reached their self-proclaimed fork in the road of their musical journey with their dreamy new single ‘Jim, Let’s play’.

This trio, formed early in college, have really been cutting their teeth over the last few years and their determination has shown taking them from gigs at their college to supporting the likes of genre big hitters The Big Moon and garnering attention from BBC to name but a few.

The three-piece have been hitting it out of the park so far in 2020, with ‘Frame Of Reference’ and ‘Quotations For Locations’, but ‘Jim, Let’s Play’ is expected to be a monumental for this young band as they break out from their dream pop trance and begin to embrace the playground that is synthesisers.

‘Jim, Let’s Play’ is a direct homage to the cult Boston songwriter The Space Lady, embracing a “cut-up” method of writing with the title jumping out instantly and being skewered by a melody. The 70’s icon “greatly influenced” this trio’s newly evolving sound which earnt her a thank you, and we also owe her thanks to inspire such a creative piece which puts Drug Store Romeos well on their way to success.

‘Jim, Let’s play’, the new single from Drug Store Romeos is available now on all major streaming platforms.
