Florence Arman – 'Home'

Rising singer-songwriter Florence Arman returns with cathartic new single ‘Home’.

When you’re always on the road, “home” can be a difficult concept. For Florence, who spent most of her childhood split between the UK and Germany before moving to Vienna, it has become less of a place and more of a feeling. With that kind of turbulent past, it’s no wonder that her new single perfectly captures the struggle of not really belonging anywhere. Set to an immersive backdrop of guitar-led melody lines that lead into an immediately catchy chorus, Florence embraces her pain in beautifully introspective lyricism - “I haven’t been home in a long time, only ever land but I don’t arrive. Dig up my roots so many times just to feel the ground again.”

Taken from her upcoming debut EP, ‘Home’ gives a first taste of what to expect from the expansive coming-of-age anthology set for release early next year. Centred around heartfelt lyrics and timeless pop melodies, it’s definitely a debut to look out for.
